Sandra Davis

Sandy Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience in working with individuals ages 10 and up and families with anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, family conflict, and trauma. Sandy is a National Certified Counselor and Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Professional who sees clients both virtually and in person at our Penn Avenue location.
Sandy received her BA in Psychology from Allegheny College and her MA in Addictions Counseling from Waynesburg University. Sandy has experience working in structural and functional family therapy programs, is certified in Triple P Parenting Level Three, and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Sandy primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients meet their goals. Sandy believes it is an honor to walk alongside clients as they embark on their journey to strength, wellness, and hope.
In additional to her clinical work, Sandy serves as a parent mentor at Arsenal Family and Children’s Center in Pittsburgh and is a Subject Matter Expert for the National Counselor Exam. In her free time, Sandy enjoys jigsaw puzzles and her two rescue cats, Claudia and Walter.
