Life can seem chaotic and overwhelming at times for all of us. My goal is to help individuals move through turbulent periods and arrive at a calm and satisfying place. My therapeutic approach involves assisting individuals in recognizing that although they cannot control events or change the people around them, they are always in control of themselves and can choose how they respond to those events or others. I use eclectic, evidence-based interventions and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques to create a unique framework for each individual to develop the healthy self-esteem and self-awareness needed to set appropriate boundaries, make good choices, expand their coping skills to manage daily stressors, build resilience and to learn to be kinder to themselves.

I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I am certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and I am licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

I gained extensive experience with adults (18+) living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID) and Co-occurring Mental Health (MH) issues while providing trauma informed individual and group therapy at a community mental health center which offered a specialized Partial Hospitalization Program for ASD/ID/MH adults. I have also acquired expertise working with traditional and non-traditional students navigating life transitions as a counselor at local colleges. Additionally, I am qualified to provide trauma informed therapy for stress management, depression and anxiety, family and interpersonal relationship issues, school and career related issues.

Many of my clients are professionals, college students or academics, or primary care givers/supports to family members living with disabilities.

“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” Victor E.
